WoundedInIraq.org is a non-partisan collection of information
pertaining to the number of casualties incurred during the current
conflicts along with the actual stories and faces behind those figures.
As WoundedInIraq.org grows we'll be featuring a statistical report
in this space detailing such things as the total number of stories
entered, locations, and more.
Your participation in this living, on-going, historical analysis
would be greatly appreciated.
WoundedInIraq.org,
is dedicated to honoring the men and women who have served and
are serving our country during the current conflicts in the middle
east.
By creating this site we hope of offer each and every veteran from 2000
and on the opportunity to tell their story directly and have it publicly
acknowledged.
Family, friends, active duty personnel, veterans, as well as other community
organizations and media outlets are also encouraged to speak on behalf
of those unable or unwilling to do so themselves.
In addition, because some families have had members wounded while working
for the private sector in theater, we've also provided an opportunity
for them
to receive some recognition for the sacrifice they've made for
their families and country as well.
